Nurse-led Clinics

Our practice nurses run several health promotion clinics as well as providing general nursing care. Our nursing services include:

Family planning advice
Heart disease prevention
Blood pressure monitoring
Asthma clinics
Diabetic clinics
Flu vaccinations
Ear syringing, wound dressing, blood tests and ECGs
Cervical smear tests
Foreign travel vaccinations excluding yellow fever
Menopausal advice
Minor operations, eg removal of warts
Childhood Immunisaitons

To make an appointment for any of the above please contact reception.

Flu Vaccination

An influenza vaccination is particularly recommended for patients with heart, lung or kidney disease, diabetes and residents of nursing and rest homes.

Please contact the reception staff in October for details of the vaccination dates and to make an appointment. If you are unable to attend the surgery, a home visit will be arranged to undertake this facility.
