HOW DO I....
OBTAIN A REPEAT PRESCRIPTION ?

Requests for prescriptions must be made in writing and can be

  • handed in at the surgery
  • faxed (Fax No. 0844 576 9141)
  • posted or
  • emailed to we-pct.bchc@nhs.net

Please ensure that requests are only for medication listed as being on repeat in order to avoid refusal or delay. Where possible give exact drug names or use the repeat tear-off slip given with your previous prescription. Please ensure that you include

  • your name
  • date of birth
  • address and
  • contact telephone number

on all prescription requests.

Prescriptions will be ready for collection after 5.00 pm two working days after the request is received, regardless of how the request is made. Please make allowances for weekends and public holidays when ordering your prescription.
